Boil the rice until half cooked and leave to cool.
Chop the onion and garlic. Add onion, garlic and spices to the minced meat, stir and let stand.
When the rice has cooled, mix it with the minced meat and form into large balls.
Place the hedgehogs on a greased deep baking sheet or baking dish. Mix water, tomato paste, sour cream and salt. Pour the resulting liquid into the balls.
Place in the oven and bake for 1 hour at 200°C. 10 minutes before the end, turn the balls over to avoid drying out the tops.
Serve with sour cream, mayonnaise or gravy.
