Rice
Rice (ORYZA) is a cereal culture, annual and perennial herbaceous plants of the cereal family. The name Oryza goes to Sanskrit. The word “rice” came to the Russian language at the end of the 19th century from Romanesan languages. Initially, in Rus', rice was called the Saracensian wheat or Saracensky grain. Later they began to call Sorochinsky millet.
