Steps:


  1. Rinse the rice several times. Wash and peel the vegetables. Cut the onions and carrots into cubes, the peppers into half rings, and peel the garlic and leave it whole. Cut homemade sausage into pieces 2-3 cm thick.

  2. Pour vegetable oil into a deep frying pan or cauldron, heat and fry the sausage pieces in it. Add onions, carrots, stir, fry them with sausage over low heat. Cover with a lid and simmer under the lid for 5 minutes.

  3. Add pepper to the sausage and vegetables, stir and simmer for a few more minutes. Place rice on top of the vegetables and sausage, add salt, sprinkle with seasonings, and pour in hot water in the required volume.

  4. Stick whole cloves of garlic into the rice and place a few spoons of stew on top of the rice. Without stirring, bring to a boil and cook, covered, over low heat for 15 minutes. Remove the garlic from the finished dish and stir.

  5. Such a healthy and satisfying dish with homemade sausage does not need any additives. Still, a couple of slices of black grain bread and pickled cucumbers won’t hurt.
