Prepare the radish, wash and peel. Peel the onion and cut into half rings. Thaw the lard if you have it in the freezer.
Cut the lard into small pieces, place in a frying pan, add onion, cut into half rings and fry until golden brown, add salt and pepper.
Grate the radish on a fine or coarse grater, as you prefer.
Place lard and onions in a deep bowl and add grated radish, add mayonnaise or olive oil.
Serve in portioned bowls, garnished with an egg. The egg can be cut into circles or lengthwise into 4 pieces. Add some greens. This salad will make your dinner original and interesting.
