Fry the prepared pitas on one side in a frying pan. Cut the sausages into cubes. Grate the cheese.
Fry the pre-cut sausages in a frying pan until the chicken is golden brown. On the uncooked side, brush the pita with a thin layer of ketchup. Place sliced sausages on top.
Then spread with mayonnaise and sprinkle with grated cheese. Fry the pita in the pan again, but be sure to cover it so that the cheese melts and the mayonnaise bakes. Or bake all the flatbreads at once on a baking sheet in the oven.
Serve the finished flatbreads on a platter after cutting them. Garnish with sliced pickles and finely chopped herbs.
