Chop the walnuts. Prepare a separate bowl for kneading the dough, as well as a saucepan or pan for frying the baklava. Place all ingredients in a visible place.
Prepare the dough. In a separate bowl, combine warm milk, sour cream, baking powder, butter and salt, slowly add flour, stirring constantly. Roll the finished dough into a ball, cover and leave for 20 minutes.
Prepare the baklava. Divide the dough into 4 parts, roll each part into a thin layer. The thinner the layer, the better. Roll each layer of dough into a roll using a rolling pin. Take out the rolling pin and cut the rolls into equal pieces about 2cm thick. Heat oil in a deep saucepan or saucepan and fry each piece of baklava until golden brown.
Prepare the syrup. In a separate saucepan, combine water and sugar. Place over medium heat and cook until the sugar dissolves, then simmer the syrup for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, add honey and stir. Dip the baklava into the hot syrup and soak it on both sides. Place the baklava on a serving dish and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
Garnish the finished baklava with sesame seeds.
