Prepare the ingredients required for the dish in the required quantities. Rinse the pumpkin with cool water, peel and remove the seeds from the pulp. Peel the garlic and rinse with water to remove debris and dirt.
Cut the peeled pumpkin into small cubes, place in a deep bowl and add basil, pumpkin seeds and finely chopped garlic to the vegetable. Mix the ingredients thoroughly, place them in a greased baking dish and place in an oven preheated to 200°C, bake for 25 minutes until soft.
While the pumpkin is baking, pour water into a saucepan and place on the stove, bringing the liquid to a boil. Add salt to boiling water, add pasta to the pan and cook until done according to package instructions.
Drain the finished pasta in a colander, put it back into the pan and add the baked pumpkin to it. Add grated cheese to the pasta-pumpkin mixture, stir the resulting dish and serve hot.
