Prepare all food and utensils. Wash and clean the fish thoroughly. Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
Cut the washed and cleaned fish in half along the spine.
Salt and pepper to taste, roll in flour.
Fry in a frying pan in olive oil on both sides until golden brown.
Add the chopped onion, cover and simmer until the onion is soft.
You can serve fish with broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, vegetables, rice or potatoes.
