Thaw the dough at room temperature. Cut into strips 2 centimeters wide.
In order to make dough tubes, you can use special shapes - cones or foil. Start by cutting the foil into squares. Next, roll the squares into cone envelopes. On each cone, wrap an overlapping strip of dough, starting at the top. Place each dough tube on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Beat one egg and coat each tube with a silicone brush. Place the tubes in the oven at 200C for 25 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the Bechamel cream. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add flour, stirring constantly so that there are no lumps. You will get a thick sauce.
Next, start adding milk little by little, stirring constantly, when all the milk has been added, boil for about a minute, add sugar and lemon zest. Stir, cook for another 3 minutes and remove from heat. Let the cream cool.
Remove the finished tubes from the oven, let them cool and remove the foil. Fill the cooled tubes with sweet béchamel sauce.
Serve sweet rolls with a glass of milk or aromatic cappuccino. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and fresh berries.
