Clean and wash the pike, remove the entrails, separate the head, tail, fins and bones, cut the fillet into medium pieces. In a separate bowl, melt the butter. Peel and wash the vegetables. Cut the onion into half rings, and the peppers and carrots into strips.
To prepare, take a deep heat-resistant bowl suitable for the microwave. Place half of the chopped vegetables on the bottom and add salt. Sprinkle each piece of pike with salt, pepper and spices and place in a bowl on top of the vegetables. Then pour in butter and add the remaining vegetables on top.
Add water to the container so that the liquid level is ⅔ lower than the contents of the container. Cover the dish with a lid and place in the microwave. Select medium power and set the timer for 15 minutes. Then check the readiness, and if the vegetables are still hard, then simmer for another 10 minutes, but at a higher power.
Stewed pike with vegetables can be served as an independent dish, seasoned with white sauce and garnished with herbs on top, or you can prepare a side dish (boiled cereals, baked potatoes, vegetables).
