Lentils need to be washed and soaked for an hour and a half. It is recommended to soak the lentils in advance. Peel the garlic, wash and cut into strips. Wash the carrots, peel and grate on a coarse grater. Peel the onion and chop finely. Also wash and chop the greens.
Prepare the roast. Turn on the "Fry" mode and pour oil into the multicooker bowl. Place the garlic, add onions and carrots to the bowl, fry until golden for 5 minutes on the same setting.
Prepare the lentils. Add the washed lentils to the fried vegetables. Fill with water, add salt and spices. Close the multicooker with a lid, select the “Rice” (or “Buckwheat”) mode. Cooking time: 20 minutes. When finished, open the lid and taste the lentils. Increase cooking time if necessary. Turn off the multicooker and transfer the lentils to a serving dish.
Before serving, sprinkle the dish with chopped herbs.
