It must be said that pumpkin has its own specific taste, like any other vegetable. Therefore, various flavoring additives are added to the jam: sour berries, apples, oranges, lemons, thanks to the acid that is present in them, the pumpkin loses its cloying quality, and the jam acquires excellent taste and aroma.

Steps:


  1. Cut the pumpkin into cubes. Wash the cranberries and puree them in a blender. You can leave the berries whole.

  2. Make syrup from sugar and water. Dip pumpkin pieces into it, add cranberry puree, stir and cook over low heat, stirring, until the pumpkin becomes soft.

  3. 5 minutes before cooking, add cinnamon. Pour the hot dessert into sterilized jars and seal.

  4. Pumpkin jam with cranberries can be served for breakfast with cottage cheese dishes and various cereals.
