Lightly melt the butter in the microwave. Peel the garlic and grate it on a fine grater or pass it through a press. Cut the bread into pieces about 1 cm thick. To serve, wash the parsley, dry it on paper towels, and separate the leaves from the stem. Prepare a baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
Prepare the bread for baking. Pour the melted butter into a medium bowl. Add fresh garlic and add dried, also dried parsley and salt. Place parchment or baking paper on a baking sheet and place slices of bread. Soak them on one side with the oil mixture.
Bake garlic toast. Place the toast in the oven for 12 minutes. Halfway through the process, 5-6 minutes after the start of baking, turn the toast over to the other side. Place the finished toast on paper towels and let the excess oil soak up.
Serve toast with dried garlic immediately after cooking. If desired, garnish the croutons with fresh parsley.
