Lay out all the ingredients.
Heat a frying pan and grease it with oil. Cut the onion into small pieces and fry until golden brown for 10 minutes.
Place minced meat in a frying pan, mix with onion, salt and pepper, add bay leaf. Fry lightly for 5 minutes.
Pour water into the pan and simmer everything under a closed lid for 25 minutes until the water evaporates.
While the minced meat is stewing, boil the pasta, strain the water through a colander and put it back into the pan, adding a small piece of butter.
Place the finished minced meat into the pan with the pasta and mix everything thoroughly.
Sprinkle with fresh herbs and grated cheese.
