Wash the tomatoes and lettuce. Peel the onion. Place all ingredients on the table for easy preparation.
Salt and pepper the minced meat, add soy sauce and a tablespoon of ketchup. Mix thoroughly.
Cut the pickled cucumbers into thin slices.
Also thinly slice the tomato into slices.
Chop the red onion into thin rings.
Divide the minced meat into two equal parts. Using your hands, carefully form two “balls” of minced meat.
On a cutting board, flatten the resulting balls so that they take the shape of cutlets.
Heat a frying pan with a little oil. If your frying pan has a non-stick coating, you can do without oil; there will be enough fat that will melt out of the minced meat. Place the cutlet in the pan.
Fry for a few minutes on each side. The optimal frying time depends on the frying pan, the type of stove, and the thickness of the cutlets, so it may vary.
Carefully cut each bun into two pieces.
Fry the buns on the inside in a frying pan for a couple of minutes.
Start assembling the burger. Place the bottoms of the buns first. Spread them with mayonnaise. Place lettuce leaves. Place chopped pickles on the salad. Next, place tomato slices on the cucumbers.
Then place the cutlets on the tomatoes. Spread each cutlet with ketchup.
Cover the burger with the top bun. For convenience, so that the hamburger does not fall apart, you can stick it on a wooden skewer. Ready!
The burger is an excellent stand-alone dish, but traditionally it is served with French fries, coleslaw salad, and corn nachos with sauce. A cold light lager goes great with burgers. And if you prefer soft drinks, then the most “American” choice is regular cola.
