Steps:

  1. Thaw the squids, then put them in boiling water for 2 minutes, remove them and place them in cold water. After this, peel the squid from the film. Don't forget to remove the rod of sorts from the squid's body. Cut the prepared squid into strips 1.5 cm thick. Cut the peeled potatoes into strips. Cut the onion into half rings, grate the carrots on a vegetable grater. Grate the cheese using a special cheese grater.

  2. Pour half the vegetable oil into the frying pan, heat it up, add the potatoes, add salt and fry until tender, stirring occasionally so as not to burn. Place the finished potatoes in a baking dish. Place chopped squid on the potatoes and add a little salt.

  3. In the remaining oil, fry the onion, then the carrots, one by one, not forgetting to add salt. Place a layer of fried onions and carrots on the squid.

  4. Preheat the oven. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes at 180. Then remove the pan, open the foil, generously sprinkle the dish with cheese and put it back in the oven for 5 minutes. The dish is ready, you can serve.
