The modern chicken is the ancestor of wild bank chickens, which previously lived in Southeast Asia. Chicken meat is rightfully considered dietary, as it contains a large amount of easily digestible protein, little fat and no carbohydrates. Poultry meat contains vitamins E, B5, B6, B12. Chicken is also quite versatile in preparation: it can be boiled, fried, stewed, baked, pickled, added to pies and salads.
