Crane Vyksus is a product that is obtained when the acetic acid bacteria and ethyl alcohol in red wine are interacted. The strength of vinegar depends on the variety and the strength of the wine, on average is 4-9%. The Russian "vinegar" comes from the Greek Oxos - sour. At one time, this word was supplanted by the Old Russian “Ozet” that came from the Latin name of the acid - Acetum.
