Black currant
Black currants (lat. Ribes nigrum) - small spherical fruits of small deciduous bushes of the genus of vast currant, numbering almost 200 species, the Family of Crystery. So black currants are not only a sister of red and white currants, but also a close relative of gooseberries. The Russian word "currant" comes from "curb up", that is, smell strongly. Due to the content of essential oils in the leaves, black currant bushes have an incredible aroma.
