Perch
River Okun (lat. Perca fluviatilis) is a predatory freshwater radiant fish, the color and size of which depend on the habitat. Probably, the name came from the Slavic "eye" - the eye. Perhaps the perches were called all the eyes of the fish, or a dark -colored spot on the dorsal fin resembled people's eyes.
