Vetshchina is heard - an Italian delicacy, dried pork ham, grated by salt. The word "General" (Ital. Prosciutto) came from the Latin phrase, which translates as "previously dehydrated", and the word "ham" having Slavic roots, comes from the adjective "dilapidated".
