Nori
Nori is the crushed, dried and compressed in square sheets of red algae of the Porphyra genus (Porphyra), in which the Japanese rice bunkeys of Onigiri, Korean kimbapes and make different rolls. In nature, the algae are brown, but drying, become bright green. There are several types of nori: Nori-Maki-sheets for the preparation of rolls and kimbas, crushed algae for adding AVA-Nori to the soup, and fried in oils and, seasoned with spices, a popular Asian snack.
