Glass noodles (funchose)
Glass noodles (funchose) - transparent noodles based on starch, a common product of Asian cuisine. In China, funchoza is obtained from the starch of bobs of the mung, in Japan - from potato, and in Korea - from YAMSOD starch. In Russia, funchosis and glass noodles are synonymous, interchangeable concepts. Sometimes glass noodles are mistakenly called rice.
