Chickpeas
GOTT (Turkish peas, lamb peas) is a grassy bean plant, from the seeds of which a variety of nutrient dishes are prepared. The product is especially popular in the Middle East, in the Mediterranean region, in India. It is used in vegan and vegetarian cuisine, eaten during fasting as a source of plant protein, a substitute for meat.
