Ground turmeric
Kurkuma (córcuma) is a bright yellow powder, which is obtained from the crushed root of the plant of the ginger family (zingiberaceae). It is used as a dye, spice in cooking and for medical purposes. The turmeric is also called Turmeric in a different way, and both names are considered correct. The powder is part of the curry of all types (yellow, red and green), enriching and improving the taste of mixtures.
