Sift the flour. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Beat the eggs with sugar using a mixer until thick peaks form. Carefully add flour and all dry ingredients. Stir until smooth.
Pour the batter into the baking dish and add the chopped apples. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 35 minutes on top/bottom mode.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar or cinnamon before serving.
