Remove the pasta from the package and place it in the pan. Cut a piece of cheese and place it on a plate along with the butter.
Pour water into the pan and bring it to a boil, then add a teaspoon of salt, stir and add the pasta. Once the pasta is in the water, stir it and let it boil, stirring the pasta several times until it boils so that it does not stick to the bottom. After the pot of pasta has boiled, drain the water and use a colander.
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. First add the butter to the pasta and mix thoroughly, then stir in the cheese.
Serve pasta on a flat plate along with herbs and tomatoes.
